The Kawanishi N1K2-J Shiden Kai was one of the finest land-based fighter aircraft operated by the Imperial Japanese Navy. Derived from a seaplane design, it featured devastating firepower, heavy armor, and a unique automatic flap system that made it an exceptionally agile dogfighter capable of matching late-war Allied fighters like the F6F Hellcat, F4U Corsair, and P-51 Mustang.
