Build Notes

My model represents a Bf 109E-3 flown of 3./JG 52 as flown by Unteroffizier Kurt Wolff during the Battle of Britain. In late summer of 1940, Wolff crash landed at Coquelles, France after combat with RAF Spitfires. Wolff had a confirmed aerial victory over a Spitfire on 27 September 1940, and later that year, would be shot down and taken prisoner.
